The Family Orientated Baseball Club
Established in 1955 Belmont Baseball Club is nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie and plays out of first class facilities at Miller Field, Belmont.
We are a family orientated club and pride ourselves on providing a fun atmosphere that is conducive to the sporting and personal development of all Members from our tee-ballers through to our not-so-young Masters competitors. Belmont is very supportive of the concept of ‘good sports’ and adheres to rigorously developed Codes of Conduct covering both on and off field aspects of the Club’s operations.
Belmont places equal priority on development of Juniors and on-field success of Senior teams. In our 70 years we have taken out the Senior Club Championship 49 times, and been First Grade Major Premiers on 39 occasions. We have been Junior Club Champions on 23 occasions and have 35 major Junior Premierships. Along the way Belmont has provided numerous representatives at Junior and Senior level from Newcastle through to Australian level.

Try Baseball
Get ready to play ball – join us for a FREE fun-filled “Come and Try” baseball session.
For boys and girls (date of birth from September 1 2010 to August 31 2022) wishing to come and see what baseball is about.
All ages and skill levels are welcome. Introduce yourself and you’ll be directed to the right area. Please keep an eye on our facebook page for any updates due to inclement weather.
All sessions are at Lumsdon Field Belmont accessed via Maude Street (head toward our batting cages). Attend as many sessions as you like.
All equipment is provided however if you have your own glove please bring it with you. Remember to wear sunscreen, a hat, closed-in shoes and bring a water bottle. Please register on arrival using the QR code.

Preseason Training
Seniors
We have mixed teams in every grade to cater for all ages and abilities. Regular mid-week preseason training sessions will start on Wednesday afternoons beginning February 18 at 6:00 pm, meeting near the batting cages at Miller Field, access via Maude Street.
We encourage anyone interested in playing to regularly attend these sessions so skills can be assessed by club coaches for team gradings and selection purposes.
